In the blighted " black villages" of the Ukraine, an  herbal beverage clled Samagon is reputed to alleviiate the effects of radiation from the near- by Chernobyl power station. Concrete fatigue is the name of the game here, folks. The sarcophagus has been under constant assault since it was built to encase the nuetrino hell unleashed there. Pass the herbal brew.

 Burnt with the taste of hell it is. Ask the peasants who have slipped back into the "19 Mile Exclusion Zone". Ask the poachers who catch wild boar and sell them to the finest resturants in Kiev and Moscow. Bring your dosimeter.

. In areas written off for human habitation , one can not vote. ( What is round on the end and high in the middle ? ) In 1986, power station 4 blew it's top. All the villages turned black, like Lovecraft on steroids. Many towns ---  they were evacuated and simply knocked down, plowed under, until the authorities realized they were contaminating the water table. The plutonium released will take 25,000 years to degrade.

Visitors are rare inside the 19 mile Zone of Exclusion. People are not really supposed to live there at all, but some choose to, living in a post-modern reality all of their own, a radioactive hell where even Santa dares not tread.

As perfect a Hell  has never been wrought. Chernobyl has become a dark secret, where all memory becomes a hole, unnoticed, all consuming, gaping and immense.

 The truth of Chernobyl is transnational. This is the worlds #1  dirty bomb, primed and set to emit.  No one talks about it. While the never elected Simian probes his dog's ass, the mother of all enviromental disasters is brewing in the Ukraine. According to the NYT, the ten story steel and concrete structure called the sarcophagus constructed over reactor Number 4  "leaks like a sieve  into groundwater that drains into the Pripyat River, which feeds the Dnepr, which is the drinking water for Kiev."

Nothing orange going on in Kiev, right ?

Ninety % of the reactor fuel  is still in the core, breaking down and heating up, and the station managers themselves say the sarcophagus could collapse at any time ( Wa Wa ).

 The proof is in the pudding. If the structure collapses, the estimates of DEATH  ( Can you hear me now ? ) from the resulting explosion range from 41 to 300,000. Seven million people already live on contaminated land in the Ukraine, Belarus and Russia. The  genetic consequences of this contamination remain to be seen. People around the world already carry the marks of Chernobyl in their DNA..
